Like the Coureur des bois category, the half-marathon takes place over two days, offering half-marathoners the opportunity to ski the last three sections of each day for a total of approximately 45 km per day.

While the trail is the same one that Tourer 3 skiers use, the tourers are given more time to do it so they can ski at a slower pace.  Half-Marathoners are given less time and are expected to ski at a pace that is typical of a Coureur des Bois skier.  This category is a great stepping stone in your journey to become a Coureur des Bois.
