The ‘Centennial Marathon Ski Tour’ was to be a one-time event to celebrate Canada’s 100th birthday in 1967.
Skiers from all over Canada returned for the Canadian Marathon Ski Tour.
Trail was set from Lachute to the National Capital Region. Notable participants were Governor General Michener and the legendary Jackrabbit Johannsen.
15th year and 3500 skiers!
