Impact Challenge
One Team. Four Distances. One Impact.
The Challenge
This is a new corporate experience that invites companies to promote active living among their employees by taking on an outdoor challenge together, with distances accessible to different ability levels. The registration fee per team is $1500 CDN.
Distance
As part of the Canadian Ski Marathon’s Super Saturday, each company forms a team of six employees. Each participant chooses the distance that is right for them — 15, 30, 45 or 60 km — based on their abilities and the personal challenge they want to take on.
Friendship & fun
There is no timing and no athletic competition. Success is not measured by speed or by the number of kilometres completed. The real challenge is to get active, enjoy the outdoors and share a meaningful experience with colleagues.
Charity
The impact, however, goes beyond the team. Each company commits to raising a minimum of $5,000. Funds raised will support a local cause that encourages and promotes physical activity, extending the very purpose of the Impact Challenge into the community.
