Elle traverse ensuite un terrain varie\u0301 comprenant des fore\u0302ts, des champs ouverts et une ferme de pins avant d\u2019entrer dans le Club de Golf et d\u2019Arundel. Il y a une belle vue sur la rivie\u0300re Rouge le long du sentier. Une partie de la section 1 emprunte le r\u00e9seau de sentiers Sentiers Loisir Arundel et une autre partie utilise le terrain de Club de golf Arundel. Il suit ensuite la route historique Bourassa sur 7,5 km, qui \u00e9tait la principale route pour les chevaux et les cal\u00e8ches entre Montebello et Saint-Jovite au XIXe si\u00e8cle, avant de devenir l&rsquo;itin\u00e9raire de ski pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 du l\u00e9gendaire Jack Rabbit Johannsen. La piste bifurque ensuite vers l&rsquo;ouest sur Chemin Sugarbush pendant 6,5 km. \u00c0 partir de l\u00e0, une nouvelle piste vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre am\u00e9nag\u00e9e, qui longe le pied d&rsquo;un long escarpement jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 d\u00e9boucher sur un fairway ouvert du terrain de Golf H\u00e9ritage. Elle se termine par une descente vers un pont qui enjambe un ruisseau, puis par une derni\u00e8re mont\u00e9e sur le premier fairway jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e. Les skieurs partent du point de contr\u00f4le Golf H\u00e9ritage \u00e0 Notre-Dame de la Paix, qui est \u00e9galement la ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e. Le parcours suit les pistes \u00e9tablies autour du terrain de golf, serpentant dans la for\u00eat et les fairways. \u00c0 un moment donn\u00e9, il rejoint le parcours r\u00e9gulier de la section 5 du marathon et le suit en sens inverse sur environ 2 km, avant de faire demi-tour et de revenir au terrain de golf. Le premier kilom\u00e8tre est en mont\u00e9e, puis 5 km de descente gratifiante. Le passage au sud de l&rsquo;autoroute 50 vous emm\u00e8ne vers la descente anticip\u00e9e et gratifiante dans la vall\u00e9e de la rivi\u00e8re des Outaouais et la ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e ludique de la premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9glise Notre-Dame de Bonsecours \u00e0 Montebello. (400 m de mont\u00e9e, 510 m de descente)<\/p><div><span lang=\"FR-CA\">Les skiers, J&rsquo;accroche, qui trouvent que la derni\u00e8re section de la journ\u00e9e (section 10) est trop longue et difficile ont la possibilit\u00e9 de commencer plus loin sur la piste afin de r\u00e9duire la longueur et le nombre de c\u00f4tes. La piste commence au b\u00e2timent d&rsquo;accueil de Kenauk Nature et suit le m\u00eame chemin que les autres skieurs jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la ligne d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Montebello.
